RN position would require weekends and be on Call.  Ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate easily with direct caregivers, office team and peers in the program. This position is responsible for making nursing observations, assessments, and providing supportive care to clients and their family at home or the place of residence. 

Previous experience would be preferred but not required.    Will train.    Position does involve on call with rotation of weekends and holidays.   Must have established critical nursing skills.   Availability of fluctuating schedules is a must.

Provides direct patient care within scope of practice to residents of Prairie Pines Lodge Assisted Living and Independent Living.

The tech  would work under the general and direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.  This individual would provide receptionist, secretarial, clerical, and housekeeping duties for the department with minimal supervision or independently.  This individual would assist Physical Therapist in selected procedures as necessary, and perform other duties as requested.

Sets up patients trays in accordance with diet ordered.  Sees that patients receive diets ordered.  Sees that patient receives desired and allowed beverage, salad, dessert, bread and butter.  Checks hot food prepared by cook so that they are proper for diet.  Delivers food carts to hall and places food on tray for nursing assistants to deliver.  Prepares,  records, and delivers nourishments for patients.   Keeps charts and working area clean and sanitary.  Assists patients in completing food preference sheet and records information.  Works other positions when census is low or as scheduled.  Keep juice and needed supplies in refrigerators for patients &  nurses.  Take diet orders from ward clerk over telephone, respond to diet orders received through email & note changes on “Dietary Orders” list on CCHWeb site, with normal background noise, and record on diet card.  Verbally transmit changes in orders, new or dismissed patients, etc to Cook(s) on duty

POSITION

Cleans and services all hospital areas and out lying offices, apartments, houses, and facilities to ensure the safety, health, and morale of the patients, visitors, and employees, and ensures the patients recovery by helping to provide a clean, attractive, safe environment with minimal interference to others.

JOB SUMMARY

Cleans and services patient rooms, bathrooms, lavatories, and offices. Cleans and mops floors, strips, waxes, and restores floors. Dusts furniture and cleans equipment” cleans windows and window ledges. Empties trash receptacles, scours and polishes shower, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment. Replenishes supplies of soap, paper towels, toilet paper, sharps containers and air fresheners. Cleans and polishes doors, tables and wood walls. Performs a variety of other duties as related to the position.
