Job Summary(s)/Responsibilities:
Cook: 

To prepare, season, cook and serve nutritious meals to residents.  Supervises and instructs dietary staff, when manager's are off duty.  Is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food production, is also responsible for appropriate quantities of food as needed to meet menu requirements, and may be asked to order food and supplies.  Assists in keeping dietary department clean, and follow rules of sanitation within the department.

Aide: 

Set up patient meals.  Sees that patient receives desired and allowed beverage, salad, dessert, etc.  Prepares, records, and delivers food and nourishments for patients.  Assists patients in completing food preference sheet and records information.    Stocks nutrition room, healthy venting machine, and dietary department.

Cook & Aide:

Is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control.  Keeps dietary department clean and follows rules of sanitation.  Cleans and stocks department with any available down time.  Works other positions when census is low or as  scheduled.  Fills shifts when openings occur due to illness.  Takes on additional tasks as needed/assigned.
