Medication Aide
Location: Prairie Pines Lodge in Chadron, NE
Full-time, 30-40 hours a week, 3 days a week, 7am-8pm
Job Duties:
- Passes medications in a sanitary manner, according to facility policy on medicine and according to regulations governing the Provision of Medications by Medication Aids.
- Charts all medications accurately in appropriate place.
- Must provide medications following the fourteen competency standards.
- Assists any resident with minimal care such as: bathing, dressing, making bed, ensuring resident gets to dining room, etc.
- Is aware of resident’s rights. Treats residents with consideration, respect and full recognition of his/her dignity and individuality

Qualifications:
- Must possess current 40-hour Medication Aide Assisted Living Certification for Nebraska.
Experience: - No prior experience is needed. On the job training.
Education:
- Minimum of 10th grade education.
Licensure:
- Must possess active 40-hour Nebraska Assisted Living Medication Aide License.
- Keep Medication Aide license active and complete yearly competency testing.
- Current CPR certification.
