Position Details:


Location: Prairie Pines Lodge in Chadron, NE

Casual, 0-19 hours/week, Temporary, Hourly, Non-Benefited 

Monday - Friday, 08:00am-04:00pm

Position Summary: 

Will assist Activities Coordinator by providing residents with physical and mental activities daily. Needs to be flexible with schedule as it will require working some nights and weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Will be transporting residents to appointments and shopping.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Supervises residents in recreational and educational activities.

- Escorts residents to and from activities.

- Assists residents, as necessary, in entering and exiting the facility transport vehicles. Drives facility vehicles to transport residents to scheduled appointments, activities, and shopping.

- Leads physical workouts and other group activities.

- Responsible for general clean-up of recreational areas and equipment.

-  Inspects interior and exterior of company vehicles at the beginning of each shift. Reports any maintenance concerns or improperly working equipment on vehicle.

- Assures that vehicle is cleaned inside and outside on a regular basis. Assures vehicle is properly fueled on an ongoing basis.

- Assists with responsibility for care of facility pets.

Must possess computer, people, organizing and communication skills. Provide valid Nebraska driver’s license and current Nebraska Medication Aide certification may be required.


 Previous experience in Activities in Assisted Living or Long Term Care preferred, but not required.


Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.


Current CPR certification.
