Permanent, Hourly, Benefited position for full-time and part-time status only
Monday-Friday, May include weekends, On-call required.
Sign on bonus available.
Position Summary:
Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and other areas of perioperative services for all patient populations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Assess patients at intervals as stated in policies and procedures.
- Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
- Implement the plan of care
- Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes.
- Transfer care as applicable.
- Delegate tasks according to the state Nurse Practice Act and job descriptions.
- Document nursing care accurately, completely, and legibly
Education:
- Associate degree (or higher) in nursing
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse licensure in state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on patient population.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Experience:
- Two years nursing experience preferred.
- On the job training for the right candidate.
