CCH&HS Receives Performance Leadership Award for Quality

As part of the National Rural Health Day celebration, Chadron Community Hospital & Health Services has announced it has been recognized with a 2022 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Quality.  Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards honor top performance among rural hospitals in Quality, Outcomes and Patient Perspective.

“Our Mission is to provide, and support, health care, and community service programs, of excellence in the communities we serve. To have a respected third party recognize the focus of our work, and the improvements that are being made, is great.  With that, the Chadron Community Hospital & Health Services team continually work to identify services that can be expanded, added, and developed with the goal of exceeding our communities’ expectations in providing access to high quality care.” – Nathan Hough, CEO

The Performance Leadership Awards are based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX™.  Now in its 12th year, the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX is the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance. INDEX data is trusted by rural hospitals, health systems with rural footprints, hospital associations and state offices of rural health across the country to measure and monitor performance across a variety of areas impacting hospital operations.

This is the second straight year Chadron Community Hospital & Health Services has been recognized with this award.  Chadron Community Hospital & Health Services was also recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital this past February.  The Chadron Community Hospital administrative team is proud of these achievements, and the on-going hard work and dedication of the CCH staff to provide our community with quality care.
