Chadron Hospital Receives 2026 Governor’s Wellness Harvester Award
CHADRON, Neb. — Chadron Hospital has been named a recipient of the 2026 Governor’s Wellness Harvester Award, recognizing its commitment to creating a workplace culture that supports employee health and well-being.
Governor Jim Pillen recently recognized 31 Nebraska organizations through the 2026 Governor’s Wellness Awards. Chadron Hospital was one of just 10 organizations statewide to receive the Harvester Award, which recognizes organizations with advanced workplace wellness programs demonstrating high-quality outcomes.

Chadron Hospital’s wellness efforts support multiple aspects of employee well-being, including physical, mental, emotional and social health. Through education, wellness activities, preventive health initiatives and opportunities that encourage healthy behaviors, the hospital continues to invest in the people who serve patients and communities throughout the region.
The Governor’s Wellness Award is sponsored by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and administered by the Panhandle Worksite Wellness Council, part of the Panhandle Public Health District. Since the program began in 2008, 592 awards have been presented to organizations across Nebraska.
