Our sports medicine program remains active within the community and surrounding region.  We routinely provide coverage of high school sports practices and events.  Evaluation and treatment of sports-related injuries are also performed in the clinic.  In addition, our staff works with Chadron State College when needed to help with the rehabilitation of injured athletes.  We routinely provide "sports medicine clinics" in which competitive or recreational athletes within the region can have a sports-related consultation at no cost.  Details pertaining to our "sports medicine clinic" can be obtained by contacting our office at 308.432.0232.

Katelyn Woodrum, LAT, ATC

Katelyn graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. After graduation she worked at Sheridan Physical Therapy and served as the sole athletic trainer for Sheridan Community College. During her time at Sheridan physical therapy she worked alongside physical therapists to broaden her skills and knowledge in injury rehabilitation. At the college she assisted with men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball and the rodeo team keeping the athletes healthy and safe. The last two years she spent at Midland University working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer while completing her masters degree. Growing up in Harrison, NE, she is excited to be able to keep athletes in small town panhandle high schools healthy and able to play sports. She has been a board certified athletic trainer since 2015.
